Fabian Hamilton was elected as the Labour Member of Parliament for Leeds North East in 1997. Fabian is currently the Labour Party’s Shadow Minister for Peace and Disarmament, Latin America and the Caribbean. Since his election to Parliament, Fabian has championed multilateral disarmament and international peacebuilding.
Alongside regional responsibilities in Latin America and the Caribbean, Fabian is responsible for Labour Party policy on arms control, the non-proliferation of nuclear weapons, conflict prevention and the UK’s soft power. He is married with three children and two grandchildren and is a keen cyclist and amateur photographer.
